About Nina May

My name is Nina May and I am the owner and stamp design artist for Paper Cupcakes.  Like a lot of people that have the talents to draw, I have been doing it since childhood.  It has always been a passion of mine.  This journey is about that passion and letting God lead me where he sees fit to take me.  I have four children and have always wanted to find a way to use my art as well as stay at home while raising them.  I have spent the past years of my journey doing many murals, color pencil animal portraits and fine art in watercolors. I decided to venture into doing stamp designs after scrapping and card making for several years.  The more I stamped the more I thought I could be drawing these stamp designs.  That is how this journey transpired.  I truly enjoy and love doing all things crafty and artsy.  Having the ability to sit down and draw these images for you to be creative with just floats my boat in the river of life.

The one thing I love about art, as well as card making/scrapping is that there really is no wrong or right way of doing it.  It allows people to do their own thing and use their own talents of creativity to create what is in their own hearts.  I think we all have it and I also think it is really important.  How boring if we all created a like!

I want to thank everyone who has stood behind me, supported me and encouraged me.  Those of you that have joined me in my journey and helping me make some of my life long dreams come true.  Especially my husband Eric!   As well as, all of you who have bought my images and have played along with the challenges on my blog with my freebies.  Needless to say, I have not done this all on my own.  It really does take a village of people to succeed in anything and with the grace of God I pray I will get to do this for a very long time!
